Kiwi

In the sunny beaches of St Tropez around 1985, Kiwi started to emerge. Creativity and quality came together to start a collection that very quickly attracted the cosmopolitan clientele of St Tropez and thus the beginning of St Tropez beachwear style.

Soon, Kiwi spread to other exotic locations, such as Monaco, Capri, St Barth and St Domingo.

Each collection presents an enticing variety of printed and original models. The designers of the brand create beachwear collection incredibly entrenched in the air, instead of following trends they create them. A collection of swimwear mix & match created for women can accommodate all tastes from the wisest to the most adventurous.

Vilebrequin

A passionate fan of motor racing, Fred Prysquel, sat at the Café terrace during a bright and sunny summer day of Saint Tropez in 1971. Observant as he was, he sketched a design for swim shorts drawing inspiration from his surroundings: painters on the quayside, strolling tourists, and the buzz around Brigitte Bardot. And just like that, Prysquel combined his talent with the Saint Tropez lifestyle to create his first pair of swimming shorts.

While deciding on fabric, Saint Tropez reigned again as inspiration. The sailing lifestyle which was popular in the region led Prysquel to make his swim shorts out of spinnaker sailcloth. This textile is used for boat sails and has a unique, quick-drying qualities in the sun and wind. Together with their color, design and sheer originality, they became an instant success. A new style was launched, a brand was born. The name came from his passion of racing, Vilbrequin referring to the French word for crankshaft.
